As your Trustee, I advocate for the resources our schools need. This includes advocating for a provincial funding model that directs dollars where they have the greatest impact, pushing for additional classroom space to reduce class sizes, and ensuring the perspectives of families and teachers guide Board decisions. Strong governance means making accountable decisions, setting clear priorities, and maintaining transparency so our schools remain stable, effective, and faith-centered.

I listen closely to families and teachers, hearing their stories so I can share an accurate picture of today’s classrooms and advocate effectively for publicly funded Catholic education.

I support a collaborative approach to curriculum that empowers teachers and reflects our Catholic values. By engaging parents, staff, and community partners, we can ensure curriculum implementation strengthens student growth, learning, and faith formation.

Students need the right supports to thrive in increasingly complex classrooms. I advocate for smaller classes, resources for diverse learning needs, and tools that help teachers create safe, inclusive, and faith-filled learning environments. Every student deserves a safe, caring, and respectful school, and I support policies that prevent bullying and protect all students as a child of God.

Strong governance is more important than ever, especially with the current challenges in Alberta education. Trustees must make accountable decisions that prioritize classroom resources, advocate for students, and maintain stability in our schools. I am committed to transparent, faith-based leadership and to listening to families and the community when making decisions.
